Bell’s Point

Bell's point: an accessibly private ocean retreat on PEI.

Bell’s Point is a peninsula of lush forest and lawns wrapped in sandy beaches and the high red capes that are a great part of Prince Edward Island’s charm. Over the years it  has become wooded with birch and pine trees, though historically Bell’s Point was farmland, and the calm beaches with their sandy dunes were a secret known only to local families. While the waves of Prevost Cove break against the Point’s eastern cliffs, her western shores are washed gently by the waters Cape Traverse Cove, a French name that hearkens back to another century when winter would freeze the channel and 4 to 6 men would “traverse” to mainland Canada with the daily mail. Bell’s Point has since become one of Prince Edward Island’s premiere year-round retreats, boasting a fully developed and maintained neighbourhood within reach of all of PEI’s main attractions. Join us soon at Bell’s Point before the secret gets out!
